Description of Services

We offer a range of services including accessibility assessments, home safety consultantations, emergency preparedness and evacuation. We are certified as an RHFAC Professional (Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification including pre-construction, commerce, business municipal, multi-level buildings and residential units to provide accessibility ratings and certification of spaces. We are also a Senior Home Safety Specialist, certified through Age Safe Canada and can do home assessments for senior (Stay at Home) and for people with disabilities.

Alexis Chicoine / Diversability Consulting Inc

Description of Services
I host workshops, keynote speeches, lunch & learn gatherings, panel speaking, peer mentoring, etc. I offer a number of different services with a focus on fostering diverse workplaces and organizations to become disability confident. I also speak with small/large groups and one-to-one with people with disabilities on disclosing a disability for the workplace, sharing my story to encourage others to try new experiences, etc. I have been advising the three North Shore municipalities for 8 years now on housing, parks, streetscapes and most recently assisting with the development of their Accessible Plans to align with the Accessible BC Act.

Spectrum Ability
