Creating Effective Accessibility Committees

Registration is open to join Disability Alliance BC’s Accessible Organizations Project team on June 26^th at 1pm, for the official launch of Creating Effective Accessibility Committees, e-Learning modules that focus on effective participation and engagement in accessibility committees. 

As one of the pillars of the Accessible BC Act, accessibility committees play a pivotal role in the success of public sector organizations working towards a barrier-free BC.  

Developed with feedback from the disability community, local governments, and funded by the Province of BC, this important educational tool is free for the Public Sector, as well as all existing and potential accessibility committee members. 

This launch webinar will include a demo by Untapped Accessibility and is an excellent opportunity to ask questions and delve into this illuminating resource. 

There will also be dedicated time for network dialogue and information sharing for the public sector, and a chance for the disability community to deepen learning about how to be an effective committee member.
