A new accessible pathway and accessible picnic table were constructed and installed at Sherman Road Park in 2024, improving access and enjoyment for all park users. Funding was provided through the Local Community Accessibility Grant. To complement these accessibility improvements, a new playground border and CSA-compliant engineered wood fibre playground surfacing were also installed, enhancing both the safety and functionality of the park's play area.
