The 2026 playground upgrades incorporate enhanced accessibility and inclusion features including CSA-approved engineered wood fibre surfacing, easy-access play platforms, sensory and vestibular play elements, and a new basket-style swing. The playground complements other recent accessibility improvements including new washrooms, and a pathway, and picnic table funded through the Local Community Accessibility grant. Together, these upgrades help create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to this popular seaside park.
