The corporation of the Village of Alert Bay has successfully renewed our Town Square. The universal design allows for more space for wheelchair access, with curb ramps and truncated domes allowing for free-flowing design. By adding a visible cross walk with truncated domes and curb ramp from the Square to the main shopping center, creates a safe inclusive space for all to enjoy.
