Election Period Webinar and Network Dialogue Oct 17, 10 am

The Accessible Organizations Project at Disability Alliance BC (DABC) is pleased to announce an online gathering of the 750+ Public Sector Organizations that are currently working on Part 3 of the Accessible BC Act.

Please join DABC Executive Director Helaine Boyd and the Accessible Organizations Project team Anna Wijesinghe and Roberta McDonald for an informative and engaging session via Zoom at 10 am on October 17.

As election season is in full swing, it’s an opportunity to take stock of achievements gained and learn about trends pertaining to Part 3 of the Accessible BC Act.

Do you have questions about the Accessible BC Act that you want to ask the Province, but cannot during this elections season? The AOP team is here to help!

This webinar will cover what we’ve learned and provide insights and solutions to some of the thorny issues facing Prescribed Organizations.

We’ll share feedback from a recent network dialogue with Local Governments, success stories, and guidelines for approaching honoraria for committee members.

There will also be a powerful opportunity to engage with other Public Sector folks and their committees on success strategies. We’ll also share intel from Hub organizations about what’s working and where the gaps may exist.

Please join us on Zoom for this timely and engaging event.

Public Sector Organizations are invited to register by contacting Accessible Organizations Project Manager Roberta McDonald: roberta [at] dabc. ca
